This is a toe exerciser, by Gratz Industries. It will kick your %#^, via your toes. Joseph Pilates was a genius.
What do you do with it?
Thanks for asking! It works all the muscles of your foot, ankle, knees, and and helps you strengthen them, all the way up to the hips. You use it just like the picture, though I strongly recommend finding a teacher to show and to teach this particular apparatus.

It is wonderful relief for a lot of foot, ankle, knee and hip issues that are past an acute phase- or are subclinical/nagging. Or for folks on their feet a lot, or past the initial phases o rehab for an injury to a lower extremity. I run and this really helps my arches. Definitely a Pilates thing that deserves a wider audience.
